The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is an extremely good controller and a worthy successor to the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. With the news that Nintendo is complying with the EU to make sure all of its main accessories for Nintendo Switch 2 contain replaceable batteries comes the news that the revised Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller will contain a 16% smaller battery than the current version. The revised Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller launches in Europe this Winter.
| Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller | This winter | Battery capacity: 897mAh, approximately 16% smaller than current version (1070mAh).Weight: Approximately 228g, around 7g lighter than current version (approximately 235g). |
Sounds really legit.
This is worldwide right?
Yes.
I don’t think that has been confirmed.
It is definitely being done in the first place, to comply with EU laws; but I don’t see a downside to selling this world-wide as a revision wither, so I think we will have to wait and see!
It might be a “it’ll roll out over time” type of situation.
You could be possibly right about that. We can wait to see what transpires.
