Does splatfest work the same in S3 as it did in S2?
There’s some new and different things about it. Obviously there’s 3 teams instead of 2. But the splatfest is also split into two halves – and during the second half in addition to regular turf wars there’s a new mode where all 3 teams play at once with special rules.
One team with four players defends an area – kind of like king of the hill – and the other two teams have 2 players each. There are giant sprinklers that constantly spray ink in the middle of the stage that can be acquired by either of the opposing two attacking teams if they breach the defenses of the defending team.
I like the mode, it’s a fun way to mix things up.
