SEGA has announced that Axel from the acclaimed Crazy Taxi video game is now available for free in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Starting Thursday at 5pm PT / 1am UK time there will be a Crazy Taxi themed Festival where you can earn special decals, gadgets and more. The free Axel Content Drop includes the following:
- “Axel: Result” (Jukebox Only)
- Axel as a playable character
- Axel’s vehicle, the Devolada Yellow Jack
- Special emotes and sounds including tracks:
- “Axel: Character Select” (Jukebox Only)
I’m happy to have any of the 4 playable characters from the Crazy Taxi game I played on ps2 years ago.
Nice, a lot of ppl on HotUK deals like this game and prefer it to the new (rather lazy) MKW.. at least judging from the comments of the cheap deal recently for the Switch version of the game, luckily an upgrade pack can be purchased for Switch 2, the Switch version is rough.
Funny that it still didn’t meet sales expectations yet somehow mario kart world still selling well. Life’s just a joke sometimes
More sales don’t always mean a game is higher quality, it’s the same for movies.
Look at all the half assed Pokémon games that come out yet still sell well.
It could possibly be the Square-Enix situation wherein, with saner metrics, the sales figures would be all right if the expectations weren’t so high. I’m imagining Sega must have paid a mint for all of the crossovers and didn’t recoup as much of those costs as they had hoped. (Not counting the Atlus, Sammy, and Rovio characters, of course. They own those.)
Good job nobody with a functioning brain gives a shit about “HotUK Deals” opinions.
MK World still selling like crazy, Sonic still underperforming (as usual).
MK World keeps winning, facts don’t lie. Cope. 😂
