SEGA has announced new collocations which are coming to Sonic Racing CrossWorlds including new characters and new stages. Godzilla and Evangelion-themed races are coming to the content packed racer which is available now on Nintendo Switch 2. That’s not all as SEGA announced the surprising Sonic Pico Park which looks set to be a fun 2D indie platforming title featuring Sonic and friends.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
SEGA revealed a first gameplay look at the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, launching in July 2026. Based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, players will soon be able to race as all four iconic Turtles – Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo – with new vehicles, courses, and new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-inspired music tracks.
Fans also got a first look at the Avatar Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, arriving in October 2026! Players will be able to bend the elements as fan-favorite characters, Aang and Katara with new vehicles, courses and Avatar-inspired music tracks, emotes, and more.
Lastly, the trailer showed a sneak peek of what players can expect in Year Two of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Players can look forward to exciting new content such as the Godzilla DLC Pack and EVANGELION DLC Pack, featuring intense courses, larger-than-life characters, and more! Season Pass Two will include a total of six new DLC Packs, with more details to be revealed later in 2026.
SONIC PICO PARK
SEGA announced a new indie partnership and its game, SONIC PICO PARK! Developed by TECOPARK and published by PICO PARK in Japan, SONIC PICO PARK is a new Sonic-licensed game inspired by the hit indie game PICO PARK, featuring its signature puzzle-driven co-op action – all with a Sonic twist! Fans can expect iconic Sonic characters, levels, and special gameplay moments, with plenty of chaos to go around! More details on SONIC PICO PARK to be revealed soon.

These kart racers don’t do much for me, new tracks, same game though, this is why I much prefer stuff like Mario Party these days.
I’m interested in seeing the new Yooka Laylee kart racer, potential to be as good as DKR.. now that’s something that spices things up and isn’t just the same game on different tracks repeatedly. At least for SP mode anyway.
Sega, no… you can’t say “we’ve got a new indie game” and it’s Sonic.
