Nintendo Switch 2 has been jailbroken for the first time through eShop game and AI

An intrepid individual has finally jailbroken the Nintendo Switch 2 causing celebration in the modding community. However it is important to note that the jailbreak itself is tethered, which means it’s lost every time you shutdown the Nintendo Switch 2 system. The jailbreaking was achieved through the cheap Nintendo Switch 2 software package SmileBASIC 4 and OpenAi. To show evidence of the Nintendo Switch 2 being jailbroken the user posted a video on X of a modded Mario Kart World featuring the likes of Sanrio’s Cinnamoroll, Family Guy’s Peter Griffin, and Hatsune Miku. Nintendo will likely catch on to this quickly and remove the $25 SmileBASIC 4 from the Nintendo eShop swiftly.

Many thanks to those who sent this in!

  1. I don’t understand how this stuff is discovered.. they just buy every random game until they figure something out?

  2. Reminds me of when ther was an exploit found in the game “Cubic Ninja” for the 3DS was found and allowed users to download and install homebrew on their 3DS for other mods. At least with that game there was a physical cart, for this case I can see it being removed from the eshop fairly quickly.

  3. It’s already delisted, it may or may not be back up if they figure out how to patch the game without discovering another exploit.
