It has been announced that the talented team at Platinum Games are working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. The game was briefly showcased during The Game Awards but platforms were not announced, so we will have to wait and see if it lands on Nintendo Switch 2.

No thank you never want to see Platinum make a TMNT game again. Also this means the THQ Last Ronin game was cancelled. Can we please get TMNT2003 love finally the faithful adaption that Laird actually worked on. Last Ronin is not great and Laird did not work on it only his idea from years ago with Eastman was used. The comic is so poorly handled and no proper fleshing out of the villains Stockman still existed but no reveal, Karai is just wasted and her son no real background or reasoning for his actions then new turtles made no sense either whole reason the Roninverse was scrapped.
2003 series is superior in every way the music score is just amazing it actually gets the turtles and lire it respected it thanks to Laird making it. The grand leadership of TMNT are stupid millennials who only want things to align with their nostalgia so they keep pushing the shitty 80’s cartoon and the lore tied to that one. Master Splinter was not Master Yoshi in the comic. The 2012 cartoon is just more millennial cringe and butchering of the IP got worse with the new stuff.
Please no. The comic is not great so poorly handled and doesn’t line up with the original continuity it’s supposed to be part of added on it is just a bad story good idea but poorly executed by IDW crazy staff. Platinum also has shown they don’t do well with most western brands look at Korra or their TMNT game before. This just seems like a mess.
