Capcom is also focusing on “re-activating IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently”

Capcom is not the only company which has a rich history when it comes to games and a vast back catalogue of fan favourites. The company has said in a recent report that it is currently looking to re-activate IPs which have not had a major new title in years. While the Japanese company wouldn’t be drawn into revealing which franchises it intends to revisit, there’s quite a few that come to mind. SEGA has recently done the same revisiting Crazy Taxi and the upcoming Jet Set Radio.

In addition to regularly releasing major new titles each year, Capcom is focusing on re-activating IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently. The company is working to further maximize corporate value by leveraging its rich library of content.
