Pokemon Pokopia updated to Version 2.0.1 (patch notes)

A software update has been released for Pokémon Pokopia, pushing the cozy Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive to Version 2.0.1. This update is much smaller than the one from last month, as it doesn’t add anything in terms of new content, but it does fix a few important bugs that could happen under specific conditions. The full patch notes for the latest update can be found below.

Ver. 2.0.1 (Released 8 September 2026)

The following issues have been fixed.

  • Under certain conditions, Ho-Oh and Lugia repeatedly descend and reappear.
  • Under certain conditions, Pokémon cannot be found when using the search function in the Pokédex.
  • Under certain conditions, the relocation kit could not be picked up.
  • Under certain conditions, sound effects play repeatedly.
  • Under certain conditions, the game freezes.
  • Under certain conditions, the game becomes stuck on the loading screen.
