A software update has been released for Pokémon Pokopia, pushing the cozy Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive to Version 2.0.1. This update is much smaller than the one from last month, as it doesn’t add anything in terms of new content, but it does fix a few important bugs that could happen under specific conditions. Ver. 2.0.1 (Released 8 September 2026)
The following issues have been fixed.
- Under certain conditions, Ho-Oh and Lugia repeatedly descend and reappear.
- Under certain conditions, Pokémon cannot be found when using the search function in the Pokédex.
- Under certain conditions, the relocation kit could not be picked up.
- Under certain conditions, sound effects play repeatedly.
- Under certain conditions, the game freezes.
- Under certain conditions, the game becomes stuck on the loading screen.

Nice to see Pokémon Pokopia getting another update. Version 2.0.1 looks like a welcome patch for improving the overall gameplay experience and fixing issues.
