SEGA and Atlus have announced in a recent report that the acclaimed Persona series sales currently stand at 30 million copies sold worldwide. SEGA and Atlus have also revealed individual sales for recent entries with the Persona 5 series and its various spin-offs proving to be the most popular. All eyes are currently on Persona 6 which remains deep in development at Atlus.
Persona series sales:
- Persona 3 series – 5M
- Persona 4 series – 5.7M
- Persona 5 series – 13M
- Total Persona series sales – 30M
I hope we eventually see remakes or re-releases of the first 2 Persona games once P6 comes out- I’ve played through P5/Royal and P4 Golden and I’m almost finished with P3 Reload, and I’d love to play the preceding games, even if there are facets of the gameplay that might feel archaic or outdated.
