P-Studio producer Kazuhisa Wada has now stated in a recent interview that Persona and Persona 2 remakes are something that the company “should definitely do.” He then went on to say that “I think we have to do it.” This marks a shift from Wada’s previous comments back in 2024 where he showed slight interest, but no firm plans. Here’s what he now says:
Asked whether fans might eventually see remakes of the first two Persona games given the studio’s recent trend, or whether focus is shifting toward Persona 6, Wada didn’t give a definitive answer. “At this point, I can’t say for sure, but personally, I think it’s something we should definitely do. I think we have to do it,” he said.
Thank you! I always wanted to try the first two persona games, but those are stuck on the original PlayStation and psp.
