Nintendo is busy celebrating today as the reviews have been unleashed for the eagerly-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is sitting pretty on Metacritic with a 96 score and we awarded the remake a 10/10 earlier. You may remember that we published a post showing the newly designed map of Hyrule and surrounding areas a month or so back. Well, it turns now out that the map was drawn by the original The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time map artist from the Nintendo 64 original.

That’s absolutely wonderful I love that
Quite literally the devs thought it would be neat to ask the original artist for this, and then they just did. Nintendo keeps most of their legacy devs. Imagine just being able to walk up to a legend because he/she works in the same building after so many years.
Nintendo really loves their employees.
That’s pretty cool.
