Nintendo Wii: Innovative Lego Nintendo Wii Remote Revealed

Lego have created the most customizable Wii Remote yet, allowing users to customise the appearance of the standard Wii Remote using colourful Lego bits and pieces.

Use your own official LEGO pieces (not included) to build a custom display stand using the Buildable Battery Cover. The remote features internal accelerometers, an internal speaker, rumble effects and larger buttons for enhanced control during game play. Works with most Wii chargers and attachments (using included Standard Battery Cover). Includes Remote, Wrist Strap, 2 Battery Covers, and 31 Mini LEGO tiles with LEGO Tile Separator. Compatible with Wii MotionPlus.

  2. My initial response as a TFOL (Teen Fan of Lego) was “DO WANT” but it looks a bit hard to hold and the colors are honestly garish.

    Plus third-party accessories suck.

  3. When i saw post i wuz like OMG CARROTS! But it doesnt look that great. I though u could. Ya know. Actually build a working wiimote outta legos. Legos ftw :P

  4. I am a big fan of LEGO, but some things should not be LEGOized. This is one of them. It looks like crap. Personally, this is the worst LEGO item I’ve seen in years. I could understand a LEGO Wii stand or something, but not the Wiimote.

  5. Really cool. My boy( and my son….LOL) the boy being my hubby, loves legos and building. The only problem I have with it is it is obviosly created targeting kids who you know can’t afford to buy it on their own. These kind of things I feel should either be priced more affordably or come in sets of two. Especially for househoulds with 2 or more chidren. All the accessories that have to be bought to get the most out of the wii are outrageuosly priced. For example 50 dollars for 1 remote and another 50 for a game. I saw the wii for sale for 150 bucks might as well just buy another one since it comes with both those things and then you get another wii for 50 bucks. It seems illogical to me the way the accessories are priced compared to the system itself.
