RPG fans should be in the mood for rejoicing this afternoon as a representative for Nintendo Europe has accidentally let slip that the critically acclaimed Wii RPG The Last Story is headed to Europe. Whilst there’s currently no more information other than ‘it’s coming’, we should hear plently more talk about localising the title for the West during Nintendo’s E3 press conference which begins at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Tuesday, June 7.

And its people like the one above (GiantCockMan) that make them not want to give it to us. Why give things to a bunch of complainers. Look at it this way too, if theres a massive issue with the game then Europe will suffer first and then we will get the repaired edition. There are upsides to being second but just going crazy isnt one of them. Oh, and just on the moral bit, anyone can put FUCK 50 or 60 times in a paragraph. A little control would be nice but like I said earlier, complainers tend to cus a lot.
Well I for one am extremely grateful that things are actually going so smoothly, considering that RPGs like this usually don’t go well in areas such as Europe and North America.

I really hope dreams come true and Last Story is localized with Xenoblade. They’d really come true if both were localized in the US (along with Pandora’s Tower), but I’d take even just one.
I honestly don’t have a problem with the casual titles you mentioned (Wii Sports, Wii Fit). Some “hardcore” people like yourself may think Nintendo’s only good strategy is to say “f**k you” to the casual audience and make nothing but mature titles, but it would be incredibly dumb for them to just ignore the new audience they created just to make you happy. I think there’s honestly room for both kinds of games you mentioned on Café (not Mother 3, sadly)
BTW, not everyone wants all Legend of Zelda games to look absolutely realistic from now on. Some of us enjoy their experimentation w/ stylistic choices. You should just get over Spaceworld 2001 already (the first appearance of Toon Link).
