Nintendo of America was recently asked about which Wii U color(s) will be available at launch. Customer service representative Jay Dean replied by saying that the Wii U will be released in both black and white. Dean reconfirms that Nintendo will reveal the Wii U’s launch date and price at an unannounced date.
“Finally, I can confirm that the Wii U will be released in both Black and White. In case you hadn’t yet had the opportunity, I wanted to let you know that everything we have available to share regarding Wii U has been added to our website.”
“Additional details (like price and release date) will be unveiled later this year; however, we don’t have any specific dates or events to announce yet. I encourage you to keep checking our website’s ‘What’s New’ section (http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew) for the latest information.”

you have it backwards, white is the absence of color, while black is a combination of every color. dont believe me? just trying mixing a ton of different colors of paint and tell me if you get black or white.
Well technically its both. If you split white light in a spectrum, you get every other colour. Matter has different “filters”, so a hrass for example absorbs ever colour, besides green, which is reflects, hence why grass is green. Black is the absorbtion of all colours, and so it reflects no form of light spectrum.

im glad it well come in both, white is a good color for families, and for apple fans, something in contrast from other systems (360 and ps3 in black) and just people who like white, a nice clean color.
as for black, I think it well be funny to see it be a more popular color. I have a feeling that Nintendo may think white is the more popular color, but it well most likely get chosen in black more often. I hope stores well be able to pick what color they want it in. I have a feeling a GameStop well order a lot in black vs white. certainly I well pic it in black, my whole tv stand is black, and well so is my xbox, tv, dvr, the glass, the metal, but to tell you the truth its not the system I care which color its in, personally I wouldn’t mind a white system to have contrast on my shelf.
