Nintendo and Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH have today confirmed via a press release that they have entered into a new distribution agreement for the forthcoming game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, scheduled for release exclusively on Nintendo 3DS across Europe on 8th March 2013. Under the terms of the agreement Nintendo will be responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of the game throughout European territories and Australia, with Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH remaining as publisher.

“There is a rich history of Castlevania games launching on Nintendo consoles dating back to the original Castlevania game which launched on the NES in the 80s. We are really proud to be partnering with Konami once again to bring the latest instalment in the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow franchise to Nintendo 3DS.”

  1. That’s cool and all, but what’s with all these lazy companies? -__-

I mean some you just sort of shrug off and say, “well, no surprise really” but seriously, Capcom and Konami used to be the best, no they’re just as bad as anyone else.

  3. Wow so basically Nintendo has to do all the work and Konami gets all the profits. Smart move on Nintendo’s part but clearly third parties still don’t see Nintendo consoles and a way to make money which spells doom for the wiu
