Looks like the rumors were true, as the beloved Kingdom Hearts series from developer Square Enix had a strong presence at the D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase. The anticipated Kingdom Hearts IV, previously confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, was announced at the panel to be launching in late 2027, alongside the reveal that the game will feature a world inspired by the 2017 animated Pixar film, Coco. Additionally, an original Kingdom Hearts anime series inspired by the games was also announced, “coming soon” to both Disney Channel and Disney Plus, though a release timeframe has not yet been shared.

I am so glad I refreshed this website right when this article was made. This brought a smile to my face.
Love the coco world, I wonder what the other worlds will be. Gravity Falls would be my biggest wish.
Not a fan of the franchise, but I’m glad the series is finally getting their own anime series. I have seen Mario, MegaMan, Pokemon and Sonic got their own anime series but now Kingdom Hearts finally getting theirs! I want to see how this plays out.
Don’t forget about the Bomberman Jetters, and kirby anime.
Ohh yeah. Thanks for reminding me about it.
Between KH4 and FF7 Revelation, 2027 is gonna be Square’s year🤩
Yay, another nonsense anime series no one asked for. Yikes…
So they brought back the anime series they were going to do before….well I wonder what kind of animation studio they will use Mappa, Ufotable, Inc or Studio Bind would be my go too. If they want colorful and vibrant Studio Bind animation style could work if they use the same style as jobless reincarnation
