Nintendo has opened its E3 website. The website – e3.nintendo.com – displays a countdown timer to Nintendo’s E3 Nintendo Direct presentation, which begins at 7 a.m. PT on June 11th. The website also contains silhouettes of several Nintendo characters – like the one shown above – including Toon Link, Pikmin, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and a hero from The Wonderful 101. Furthermore, the website confirms that players who aren’t attending E3 will be able to experience “four unreleased Wii U games” at participating Best Buy locations.

By 4 unreleased Wii U games, I suspect they mean Pikmin 3, Wonderful101, new Mario Kart and new 3D Mario.

3 Zelda’s at 1 E3…Thats unheard of and unrealistic. Windwaker for Wii U, and ALTTP2 for 3DS. I think we will see Zelda HD for Wii U in the Fall…maybe Tokyo Game Show? Or just a random Direct later this year.

Not trying to dis, bash, or troll anyone or anything anytime anywhere here, but Microsoft’s E3 isn’t guaranteed to be a disaster yet. Sure, their last few E3 presentations have been disappointing. And sure, they pretty much showed no games except for a few cutscenes at their conference, but that may been done intentionally; If they showed too much at the initial announcement, they would run out of games to show for other events. It’s possible that they may have been conservative at their announcement so that they could show off everything at E3.
To be honest, though, I still don’t think I’ll buy the console even if their E3 is a success. The console’s features just aren’t for me.

Well, one of the 4 unreleased Wii U games is definitely Wind Waker HD. Nintendo suggests it directly on their e3 website (e.g. Toon Link’s silhouette)

Make no mistake, I love Nintendo, have had my WiiU since day one, I have a tattoo of Samus for fucks sake…..BUT…..Nintendo, please learn how to build hype. All of these silhouettes are easy to make out, and of confirmed games to be shown. Why not put something there that TRULY gets all gamers/people talking. There has to be a huge surprise (there had better be) so why not show something that is really cryptic. I just shake my head time and time again. I don’t understand you at all.
They could put silhouettes for Retro’s game, Miyamoto’s ip, smash, x, smt x fire emblem, sonic, etc. if there is going to be a silhouette of Mario and luigi dream team then put some more of other 3ds games…
What about the Kirby team? Are they working on Kirby for Wii u? What about some of their other studios? What about next level games secret project? Are the creators of pandora’s tower and the last story working on something?
What about bayoneta 2? Are they ging to get another third party exclusive like the rumors say? Would be cool to get KH3…
My point is, Mario,Zelda,and Pikmin are cool, but i hope a lot more games are announced/shown
If the Wii U was to get Kingdom Hearts 3 exclusively I would probably die of happiness! Too bad it’s more likely to go to PS4.
Ok the 4 unreleased games that are gonna be playable is probably 3D Mario, Mario Kart U, Zelda Wind Waker Reborn, and Sonic Lost World. And if there’s gonna be more games playable they’re most likely Yarn Yoshi and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem. Gameplay footage of Smash Bros., X, Retro’s game and hopefully Zelda Wii U will most likely be shown. And any New IP will be annouced with no gameplay or anything yet. Also who knows maybe HAL Laboratories is working on a new Kirby game?
I agree but zelda wii u will be teaser trailer if by surprise,, SMT x FE most likely be trailer only. But I agree for the 4 unrealeased gameplay. I guess mario kart is given and 3d mario, I hope Zelda ww hd but liekley they could pull wonderful 101 and pikmin 3, but who knows.
