This week’s UK all formats chart is in courtesy of Ukie, and there’s no movement for Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. on the 3DS as they firmly stick in third position. Though the plumbers have yet to earn the top spot, the comfort of third place is clearly too tempting, coming in just below The Last of Us and Minecraft. Animal Crossing: New Leaf has slipped from second place to fourth this week, but is still firmly within the top five.
In the individual charts, however, Nintendo Land for the Wii U has climbed back up the chart and placed itself at number 33. It’s currently the only Wii U game in the charts, but with Pikmin 3 due out in UK stores on July 26, and with the game’s current success in Japan, we’re hoping it shoots straight up to sit beside Nintendo’s famed plumbers. i was seeing the chart but when I saw this list had Top 2 Minecraft, i stopped and I now know this chart is just a joke

Agreed, I can’t believe people still buy Minecraft the most overrated “game” ever…
no to mention is not even the PC version but the X-360 version
I think tetris is the most overrated game ever. I’m also amazed that minecraft sells so many boxes.
I bet you’re one of those narrow-minded people who judge others on what games they play. It’s obvious why Minecraft is selling well. It’s so damn popular. It gives a unique experience that the majority of other “games” don’t accomplish.

I wish we could get MineCraft on the WiiU.
It would work great with the game pad interface. I’d only played 20 min of the game at a friends house, but you can bet your ass it would help build the WiiU install base. Whether you like it or not, it’s damn popular.
Minecraft and World of Warcaft should both come to Wii U and turn it into a mind-slave machine.
Wii U sales would fly like Ghasts if that happened.
Then the Wii U would be saved. ^.^
