Nintendo eShop Trailer Showcases Indie Titles Coming To Europe

In today’s Direct, Nintendo featured a new trailer showcasing the indie games that are soon to land on the Wii U and 3DS eShop. Games such as Q.U.B.E, Scram Kitty and his Buddy On Rails, Grinsia, Tengami, Teslagrad all feature,  plus lots more. There’s certainly a slew of titles to look out for on the eShop in the coming months – will you be picking any of these up?

  1. Well if big N pushes them in a specialized section on the first page of the eshop, they will get much more exposure. Ill give a few a try (hopefully demo’s are available) and sure I would buy if its enjoyable.

    1. Not buying these. Sorry! Where’s all the big budget 3rd party games? Would you buy a Ferrarri to drive at 5 mph? No you wouldn’t.

      1. Why wouldn’t I support indie devs if the game is good, polished, and enjoyable? Devs have to start somewhere and if they are pushing the limits of the 3ds or incorporating new mechanics then more power to them. Let me guess, you were looking for COD on the 3ds?
I would hardly compare a 3ds to a ferrari btw.. it is a gaming system. You know.. to play games on? And at 4.99-9.99 game, that is enjoyable is hardly a sacrifice.

        1. No I’m looking for the big publishers like EA, Rockstar, Bethesda, Capcom, Konami and Square-Enix. Not small indie devs. More power to them but this is not why I bought the Wii U. My point about a Ferrari is what’s the point of having all that power if it’s getting games like Shovel Knight that could run on the SNES? It’s a complete waste and Nintendo have f#cked up big time. They lied and are failing big time. I’ve bought every single Nintendo console at launch but they won’t be getting my money at launch next time. I’m sick of their casual approach. They’ve not got 1 core releasing over Christmas. Look at Wii Fit U, Party, Sports, even Mario is aimed at the casuals. They’ll pay and are paying for this.

          1. Yea, but since when has a console really had a robust lineup at launch. I will never buy another console at launch. Especially after the price reduction with the U and no ambassador announcement. I poured alot of money into a system that was fraught with delay after delay for games. I think N will be fine in the end though. They will sell consoles to casuals and families this holiday and next year will be core gamers. They needed to adjust strategy bc of the low install base not being enticing to 3rd party devs. Hoping they announce a Metroid (by Retro) and give some details into the next Zelda title for the U. Big publishers are supporting Sony and MS bc they are also paying them to develop games. The majority of 3rd party games atm are gimped versions anyways, even if gameplay/graphics are better (like on COD Ghosts) than on ps3 or 360.
