Nintendo 3DS Outperforming Game Boy Advance In Japan

The Nintendo 3DS is outpacing the Game Boy Advance in Japan, according to sales tracker Media Create, which recently reported that 3DS sales have passed the 15 million mark in its 154th week of being on the Japanese market. Similarly, by its 154th week, the GBA shifted approximately 11.64 million units, whereas the Nintendo DS sold about 20.16 million systems within the same time frame – placing the 3DS in second place.

  1. That’s so nice to read since the 3DS is actually a very good console due to its games. I remember that back then when it just came out I hated it a lot and I thought the 3D feature was such a stupid idea but then OoT was released for it so I had to buy it. I’m so glad I gave it a chance. I can’t say the same about the Wii U though…

    1. Nah, OOT3D is like “Finally playing the game the way you always thought it looked like in your childhood” but Wind Waker HD is more like “WIND WAKER WITH DIFFERENT LIGHTING!!!!1 :DDD”

      1. Windwaker HD is mind blowing. I mean I was with 2 friends when I turned it on and we were floored by how it looks. It is definitely worth the upgrade

    2. Okay, and then every PlayStation HD collection is also a remake/rehash, wouldn’t you agree? Some people like the upgraded graphics and fixed bugs. Your comment is stupid.

  2. I always wondered this about the 3DS sales. Not that it’s bad that it’s selling, but with the high sales, who doesn’t have one at this point?
