Monster Hunter New Nintendo 3DS XL Bundle Now Sold Out At GameStop

Wanted to get your hands on the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate New Nintendo 3DS bundle which is exclusive to GameStop? Well sadly you’re too late as they have now sold out online. The console went up for pre-order Wednesday and has since sold out. You’ll still be able to buy a solo New Nintendo 3DS XL though.

Thanks, David C

                    1. I do have both preordered. Got them at gamestop. I will most likely end up keeping both and using the monster hunter one. Definitely not lying.

      1. I have a question. If I were to get the Mh4 3ds which has the game preinstalled and I do a system transfer with my old system will Mh4 still be there with my old stuff?

        1. You’ll have to re install the game but should be able to I’m pretty sure. ItIt’s what I was told on reddit anyway.

  1. Got the MM edition, so I don’t care. Too bad for the people that want it tho. May store pre order or an other retailer?

  2. I was just there and was told I had to pay in full and they said something about online ship to store or something. Whatever it was, I’m so fucking annoyed with the way Nintendo handles stuff. There had better be extras sent to stores, cos I’m really frustrated with Nintendo as a whole. The Amiibo releases were a train wreck, New 3DS is kind of bullshit (no charger, really? You don’t want to save people money, you want them to pay more), and just overall I’m sick of everything selling out instantly. If I can’t find any in-store I’m gonna be really frustrated, cos the red and black N3DS XL’s are ugly and we don’t even get the smaller model in America. And then we get a bullshit reason for that! I’m about ready to just give up on Nintendo products, I can’t get them anyways.

    1. Calm down, with anything electronic remind yourself the next one is right around the corner. Also, there were NEVER any of the Monster Hunter or MM New 3DS in store, they were ship to you on the 13th from the beginning. Everyone had to pay in full, do not expect to find this in a store, none got them. They ship directly from their warehouse. The red and black are not ugly they are just plain after you got hyped on the limited edition bundles but didn’t get one.

      1. fanboy that has no fucking standards inbound, nintendo is retarded and this is why they always are in last place each console wars, they hate money, either way they better still sell them in the gamestop store

    2. Dude I ordered an OEM charger off Amazon a few days ago for like 8 bucks, its not a big deal. I know a few people who collect these things and have extra chargers, so they don’t need one. Personally I sell mine to try and recoup money, which is why I ordered the charger. I figured selling my current 3DS XL without a charger would reduce its value more than 8 bucks so I ordered one for my new unit. I do agree about them not having enough units available. I really like the white model and was kind of bummed that one is not available in the states.

    3. Lol, that’s how I felt when the WiiU released. I was dying to give Nintendo money but they had no games. With Amiibo’s selling out and the consoles, I’m sure some with go to products easily accessible.

  3. New Nintendo 3DS is going to be HUGE. Seriously, reading all of these ‘Sold Out’ articles, warms my heart. Hwever, I do feel sorry for those that missed out on such amazing New 3DS designs, I hope you eventually find the one you were looking for…

    1. Yeah, the Majora’s Mask version sold out within a day on Nintendo UK.
I can’t wait to get mines next month.

  5. The only thing that brothers me is GameStop wont let you do a System Transfer from your old 3ds to the newer one. So I guess, you would have to buy a new one and just transfer without trading your old one in. Ill just keep my old 3ds and buy a newer version.

I knew a Majora’s Mask Bundle would come out as soon as I paid for the Skull Kid bundle. So buying a MM system with the game pre installed would be a waste of money for meee. Still though, the MM 3DS is very sexy.

        1. I thought I read that Majora’s Mask comes preinstalled in the Majora’s Mask edition, is that not the case? That would be a total game changer here for me personally.

          1. If you’re in the US, then no, the game does not come with the Majora’s Mask edition of the new 3DS XL.
If you’re in Europe, then yes, the game will be pre-installed on your Majora’s Mask edition.

            1. Oh what, damn I need to start checking things I read…

Well KARP! I totally would have traded my blue 3ds xl in towards the Majora’s Mask edition then. I just roobed myself.

              1. I don’t think it’s because you didn’t read carefully, but rather because it just would seem to be the most logical thing to get the game when buying the MM version of the system, so it’s only natural for people to expect it to be bundled with it. It’s just really confusing why they wouldn’t include the game in a special edition that is literally dedicated to that very game – especially when in other regions, they do include it. It seems really unreasonable to me.

      1. The Majora’s Mask n3DS is just the system itself, hence the $200-ish pricetag. The Monster Hunter n3DS comes with the game preinstalled, hence the $240-ish pricetag.

I REALLY wanted to get this edition. I’m hoping I will be able to preorder it in the store, because I wanted to take my 2DS and trade it in, but I have to wait because I recently performed a system transfer and I can’t transfer back until Tuesday. This New 3DS ordeal has been a huge disappointment since the Nintendo Direct on Wednesday.

  7. I couldn’t decide and currently have both systems (Monster Hunter & Majora’s Mask) preordered. BAH! Too tough to choose!

      1. How is that so hard to believe? Monster Hunter was up for 2 days on gamestop after it was announced, and I preordered the majora’s mask one immediately after the Nintendo direct. It’s not like they limit you to 1 3ds preorder.

  8. What do you mean pre-order? When I called my Gamestop they told me I couldn’t do that, I was told to pay it in full as a backorder instead. If pre-ordering was actually true then I have a personal bone to pick with Gamestop for this.

  10. All these years that Monster Hunter was around, and I’ve never played any of them.

And why are people saying that the Majora’s Mask New 3DS was a Gamestop exclusive? I don’t remember ever reading that it was a Gamestop exclusive. In fact, I thought people were silly pre-ordering it so frantically, because I thought it would be EVERYWHERE once it released. I’m a little ticked off that I was clueless, even though I couldn’t afford a New 3DS anyways. But one thing is for sure, I will NOT buy a plain color New 3DS when I do get one. No matter how long I have to wait for a good special edition.

    1. Whoever said it’s gamestop exclusive spewed some chicken shit bullshit because I preordered mine off of best buy :3

If you really want it, save up and go to fry’s or a similar electronics place where they DON’T accept preorders. Chances are they may get a few on release date so it’s not too terribly late to consider getting the MM 3DS and all it’s glory.

    2. I’ve been playing Monster Hunter since the first one (in the US) on the PS2. I got lucky and had a multi-tap and was able to play with other people. It was awesome. If I hadn’t played the first one, I don’t think I would’ve ever gotten into the others. Not to say they aren’t any good…they just got progressively more complex with each new iteration. Judging by the demo, MH4 is shaping up to be quite beginner-friendly.

  11. I never buy the first LE 3ds’s that come out. They always, and I mean always release a better looking model later on. I made that mistake a few years ago with the regular XL. I would be willing to bet on a Fire Emblem 3ds. And at least a half dozen more before the year is out… Although that MM 3ds was tempting… Wonder why they never showed us the inside of it though?

  12. I would’ve been more tempted for this if it was just the system. I prefer physical copies of the games, so to charge me more and force a digital copy of a game I plan on buying physically at the same time… I opted for the MM3DSXL. Probably would be more heartbroken about this if that hadn’t happened, but meh. It looks nice, but I just… it’s not for me. Glad that the MM one didn’t come with the game.

    1. If I can’t get the Monster Hunter one I’m getting the red one. So by the looks of this article I guess Im getting the red one :(
