Splatoon eShop Listing Crops Up Showing Amiibo Support

An official Splatoon eShop listing has recently surfaced and shows amiibo support. While it shouldn’t be taken as an official confirmation by Nintendo just yet, it gives extra weight to the South African retailer listing reported last week. Since then, retailer Raru has taken down the Splatoon amiibo pages, which detailed a Splatoon Squid Girl and Boy for release at the end of May. The vine embedded from Twitter can be viewed below, adding to the speculation. Splatoon is due for release in May 2015 for Wii U.

PREORDER PEOPLE! If we’ve learned ANYTHING from the past, once they’re all gone. they’re outrageously expensive on eBay. So please, if you’re slightly considering, just do it.

  1. If these are for real, they’d better be in large quantity, they’re going to be in high demand for customization!
