Rumour: Resident Evil 7 Could Be Coming This Fall

Someone at respected analytic research firm Super Data could have let the cat out of the bag and announced Resident Evil 7 a little early. The company mentioned that a new iteration of the popular survival horror genre will be coming out during the end of the year along with the previously announced Halo 5 Guardians. Let’s hope Capcom decides to release the game on the Wii U as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We shall have to wait until E3 to find out.

We anticipate this month’s downturn to level off during the coming few months, following a regular seasonal pattern but expect to see an upswing as the next editions of several major franchises like Halo and Resident Evil come out in the 2015 fall season.

Reminds me of a hilarious Capcom statement about it not working on Wii U for not being next-gen enough. Especially with the obvious up-scaled 3DS shell.

If 3rd party games didn’t sell on the Wii U, there wouldn’t be people actually playing the games on their Wii U. Not selling alot =/= not selling, idiot.

Even if Wii u had the game 10million owners wouldn’t keep it in top 5 like GTA or COD games still are. And the Wii U owners cant use the broken games excuse. After all Bayonetta 2 got a 10/10 and sales still wasnt top 5. Besides it’s too weak to handle it.

    1. Like we haven’t heard that before. I question how Wii U games are more stable then those on PS4 and X1 if it “can’t handle it”

So if the games on Wii U arr more stable why aren’t Wii U tittles last longer in top 5 then huh? and also why Is the NX talked about early then? Nintendo better be thinking of the PS5 and XB2 like year 2022.

        1. Because gamers of today are fucking drones of sheep herds that only buy generic pieces of shit while hating Nintendo and their games for no good to hypocrite fucking reasons. Oh and thanks to the jackass 3rd party brainwashing the masses to make them think Wii U is weak and insignificant while also damage controlling why their games on other consoles as lackluster as shit and why they keep making and porting “new” games from last gen and still release me on last gen consoles that are much more weaker and unsuitable than Wii U?

Gaming industry is fucked by idiots and tardies. That’s the issue and it’s why I’m not moving to PS4 anymore because I clearly see nothing new or special about it other than being a nerd’s blind for “powerful” hardware when clearly the PC has already achieved the same shit years ago.

The Wii U is in a much better position now than ever before. Though, after RE6, they seem to really be slipping away from quality. I really don’t care for the series like I used to. Which is a shame, because Resident Evil 2 on the N64 is one of my favorite games of all time. Capcom’s loyalty to gamers in general is in question. Be wary of them.

      1. Well, don’t hold your breathe. This game will definitely skip Wii U as RE6 did but RE6 is a festive POS so I would consider Wii U lucky from being tainted by the game. But they shouldn’t have skipped Revelations 2 because Capcom does owe Nintendo and the 3DS for bringing the series back some respect and focus on what the series should be focusing on: Horror which RER1 achieved well. But I wouldn’t hope for this game to come because of how the 3rd party mistreated the system by calling it weak and not properly porting games but oddly enough, that didn’t stop them from doing the same on the first Wii.

It suck because its just a little bit more powerful than a Ps3. You like something more powerful. That’s why PS4 is at 20 million and Wii u is under 10 million.

Sure like my comments is going to change Capcom’s mind to putting RE7 on Wii u. You get over it. Wii U ain’t getting no 3rd party support. 10million owners didn’t keep Bayonetta top 5 best sellers a 10/10 too.

  3. Another TWINKIE with way to much filling. Get this crap off here, this has nothing to do with Nintendo, or its systems.

  4. After playing just a few minutes of Resident Evil 5 on PS3, I don’t care much about this. Unless it plays just like Resident Evil 4. THAT games was pure awesome-ness. I hated having to worry about my partner’s health in RE5. What a freakin’ pain!

    1. What Capcom needs to do is take co-op and turn it into a separate mode with separate characters and separate story/missions as well as in Mercenaries while keeping the single player like RE4 and most of Revelations 1; leaving the player mostly alone and isolated in dark, creepy environment dealing with terrifying situations.

  5. The best re aside from the older ones is 4 and the wii version is the best.

    5 was complete shit

Do I need to say anything about 6?

Keep 7 off the wii u please.

    Fuck re.

    1. Cannot agree anymore. The bes ones were the classic ones. 4 was great but not survival horror. I played 6 for 30 minutes ghe shut it off

    2. Well let’s see if Capcom finally learns their lesson with RE7 seems like they’re finally getting it right again. But then again, *Remembers RE4 and then moved on to 5* They could repeat their mistakes for the third time.

    1. Speaking of Revelations 2, I didn’t even know that game came out yet until I saw it at the store yesterday. I was like, WHAT?

      1. It was episodic digital download and now on physical discs just recently. Seriously, with its current visuals behind the new standards of today, this game should’ve been on Wii U/3DS by now or maybe it was intended to be on those platforms but they fucked Nintendo over just like the rest of the them.

  6. Revelations 2 is pretty good but some of the dialog is corny but the game play is good also its a hard game I liked it better then 4 the prison part is the best part in the game

  7. If this game is getting a PS360 release then a Wii U version should be made as well. Otherwise I’ll just wait until I have a PS4 and it’s dirt cheap.

  8. Why is this story even on here? Let’s be honest with ourselves; there isn’t a chance in Hades that this game will be coming to any current Nintendo platform. We’ll just have to live with Revelations HD.

    1. Revelations “HD”? lol It’s a lazy ass port from the 3DS upscaled in visuals but not so much and then they wonder why many didn’t buy it on any system including Wii U? Because 3DS had it first and it was $20 around the same time. So tell me which is a better deal?

      3DS at $170 with RER at $20 = $200 after taxes OR
      Xbox 360/PS3 $200-300 + RER “HD” at $50 = $270-360 after taxes which those platforms already have RE4HD, RE5/Golden Edition & RE6 OR…
      Wii U at $300-350 + RER “HD” at $50 = $360-420 after taxes?

Take your pick kitties. XP 3DS is a clear winner and don’t even justify the console because it has “DLC” which are disappointing cheap costumes for Raid mode which I hate compare to Mercenaries.

  9. Ridley, the Angel of Death

If this game releases to the PS3, PS4, XB360, & XB1 but not the Wii U with the excuse that the Wii U couldn’t handle it, Crapcum once again fucks Nintendo in the ass. But if it’s like Resident Evil 6, I change my mind & will thank Capcom for skipping the Wii U again. From what I’ve heard, it looks like missing out on Resident Evil Revelations 2 might have been a good thing too.
