One of the big Nintendo 3DS titles for next year is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem franchise. The game was previously known as Fire Emblem If in Japan, but Nintendo has confirmed today during the Nintendo Direct that it will actually be called Fire Emblem Fates in the United States. It’s not due for release until 2016.
Fire Emblem If Is Now Fire Emblem Fates And Is Coming 2016

Much better, Fire Emblem If was just to confusing. Also, need a new Advance Wars game pleeaase.
Every time I look at anime style characters, I feel SO angry inside. I just hate anime so freakin’ much!
Fire Emblem If should have stayed the name since there are two alternate paths the game can take. I liked the reference to “what if” scenarios that the original name adds with If being in the title. But again, apparently the US of A is stupid.
