Nintendo Minute Starts A Playthrough Of Year Walk

After an entire month of Super Mario Maker videos, Nintendo Minute is dedicating some time to something completely different. Hosts Kit and Krysta have started a multi-part playthrough of Year Walk, which was released a few weeks ago on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U. In the game, players set out on a vision quest to foresee the future and use the Wii U GamePad to study a mysterious folklore encyclopedia, decipher hints and take notes.

You know what rhymes with lame? Fatal Frame. Which comes out in a few days. I wish they’d show a new english dubbed trailer, announce a pre-purchase or something!

  1. I hope & pray Nintendo have learned a lesson with this whole “🎮 pad” experiment. Because as much as I hate that word “IT HAS PROVEN ITSELF TO BE ANOTHER GIMMICK.”
They would’ve done better by making a system with pro controllers & Wiimotes instead.
Ironically I actually like the 🎮 pad because of it’s really cool
functions. Though not every 🎮 calls for 🎮 pad intuitive controls. Eventually I’ll play Year Walk but the question is will this be another hit to their collection, a forced gimmick, or a good 🎮 nobody will ever give a chance.

  2. Does anybody else hate the Wii U Gamepad? I think that’s the reason why I slacked off from playing my Wii U. Ever since I bought my PS3 last February, that’s mostly all I’ve been playing (when I’m not on my computer). I just hate the bulkiness and weight of the Gamepad. It causes my hands to ache, and I despise having to look up and down all the time. It’s unnatural and makes me dizzy. I’m surprised I don’t hear a lot of people complaining about the Gamepad. I use the Pro Controller whenever I possibly can. The Gamepad was Nintendo’s driving force when showcasing the Wii U. Yet ironically, the reason I’m annoyed at the console.

  3. WHERE IS EVERYBODY LATELY?
I come back probably a dozen times or more a night (between video editing) just to see if anybody replied to my comments, or added new comments. And NOTHING! SO freakin’ bored out of my mind! This site went downhill since the changes took place. Even though it did seem to get rid of several dumbass trolls.
