Eurogamer Also Says “Mother 3 Will Finally Get Western Release”

Blogger Emily Rogers let the cat out of the bag the other day by hinting that Mother 3 will be arriving in the west. The rumour was also backed up by Liam Robertson who said that he had heard the same thing. Now, online gaming publication Eurogamer is also backing up this claim by stating that “Separately, Eurogamer has heard the same thing. I was told the release is finally happening – via Wii U Virtual Console – to celebrate Mother 3’s 10th anniversary of release in Japan.” Looks like it is pretty much happening folks!

  1. If this is true, then what if that thing about Nintendo Developer Support reaching out to Toby Fox was actually to ask him to help write the script for the English version of Mother 3!? Now that would be cool!

  2. I hope it’s true, just for the fans who have wanted it so badly. Heck, I might have to get it myself it it’s true. I’m not even a huge Earthbound fan, but the series does have a certain charm that has yet to be replicated.

However, I’m waiting for an official confirmation. Can’t be too careful these days haha. So much false info. Please be true!

  3. Yeah Eurogamer heard it from her….just like we all did. Hey I heard it from Emily to so it must be true. Yet here whole thing about Paper Mario U being announced and or revealed on Monday was fake as shit.

  4. I’d be a heck of a lot happier if it was a physical disc. But I won’t complain (too much). I feel fortunate to be able to play this game at all. But it will make me sick if a trilogy disc was released later, AFTER I already played through this game.
