Star Fox Zero is now available for pre-order at GameStop – and it comes with a special bonus item. Available while stocks last, fans can pre-order the 3D scrolling shooter game at the US retailer here to receive a quirky Fighter Patch, which can be displayed proudly or sewn onto a garment of choice. It’s not quite a Fox McCloud stone statue or the Arwing, but it’s a neat little bonus for fans of the franchise.
While the title’s release is still over a month away, be sure to catch up on some 60 frames-per-second gameplay posted earlier this week of the assorted vehicles you can get to grips with. Star Fox Zero will be available worldwide on April 22.

The secret to Gamestop is simple. Become friends with the employees. I have a good friend who is manager at my local GameStop and I get really good deals. I have like 40k points saved up and get discounts on new games. I get my games cheaper at GameStop in the long run that I do Amazon or any other outlet… I honestly think the hate for GameStop is unjustified. I love browsing in a game shop, and I hope and pray it never goes the way of the Movie stores.

Like where? Last I heard Amazon don’t accept trade ins. Name me another game store in the US that does trade ins? Maybe Replays, but they only sell used games, and thier trade in value is actually lower than GameStop.
You shouldn’t think your gonna be able to get good trade in value anyways. Everybody think GameStop should pay them top dollar for thier used game when GameStop already probably has 50 copies of that exact game. Gamestop is a business, get over it.

Price gouging is hardly a proper way to do business. I sell my stuff on Amazon or half.ebay, that’s how I got over it.
Im not talking about selling your used games to other people using Amazon. I’m talking about an actual establishment buying your used games from you. And as far as I know Best Buy does not give anymore money than GameStop. Also, while I could be wrong, doesn’t Best Buy just offer gift cards on video game trade ins?

Anyways, I’m very doubtful any place gives you much money back on used games. And I have been fucked by Amazon more than GameStop. I just think it’s a trend to hate on GameStop, so that’s what people do.
From what I’ve heard, there a few good Gamestop stores out there. I’ll read comments about how “My local gamestop is great!” – sadly, I think those are the minority. My gamestop sucks as well. But it’s good you’ve had good luck! Enjoy it while you can before there’s a management change!
I mean unless they start marking the price up on the games I want to purchase I really don’t see how a management change would influence my opinion on the company. I don’t sell my games, maybe that’s why I’m not as salty towards GameStop as most people.

Yes, it’s just an add on. What you do is take the Wii U gamepad and place it face out on your forehead. Then you take the Wii mote and shove it up your ass. On one foot, turn in circles three times, then clap your hands. That’s how you sync the system.

Nope, not a retailer-exclusive. ANY physical copy of SF Zero comes with a physical copy of Guard. I just wanted to make sure I get one day 1.

Uhhh, no. If I do preorder Star Fox Zero, it won’t be with Gamestop for a silly little patch. Much rather go with Amazon Prime with 20% off pre-orders AND free 2 day shipping! Just wish they’d put digital purchases into this 20% off preorders thing. Oh well. There is no guarantee I’d actually keep Star Fox Zero for a very long time, anyway, so I don’t see any reason to get it digitally. Besides, I got Star Fox 64 3D to give me my Star Fox fix if Zero doesn’t pan out.
