The next Splatfest is taking place in North America on Saturday March 19th at 12am and asks you to choose between Team Snowman or Team Sandcastle. It’s not quite as cool a theme as the European Splatfest which asks players to choose between a Jetpack or a Hoverboard. Still it should be good fun! Which team do you think you will side with?

No it’s an entirely separate console that has backwards compatibility for Wii games. This is why they should have named it something else, I had the same question when it came out.
Weird. Maybe its because im really into video games but i never thought the Wii U was an addon to the Wii.

Of course the UK would have the more awesome Splatfest. Wow. Even when it comes to themes, Nintendo of America is a total failure.
Anyway, since this is obviously a winter vs summer thing, I’ll go with sand castles because I hate winter.
