LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is 30fps on Nintendo Switch 2

Some Nintendo Switch 2 owners have been disappointed to find out that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is only 30fps on the Nintendo Switch 2. The latest LEGO game doesn’t feature a Performance Mode or a Fidelity Mode and is simply locked in at 30fps. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available today on the Nintendo Switch 2.

  1. So does this site just steal reddit posts and shorten them to basically nothing-articles? Every lego game has been 30fps on Nintendo hardware forever… How about, this game didn’t realease as a buggy mess like Dark Knight Rises on Switch? Nothing is surprising about this…

    1. It’s weird because a game like the Witcher 3 is going to have a 40 fps mode and that has a lot more detail to a Lego game. But Lego Batman is a UE5 game, meaning it won’t run the best. My friend got the deluxe edition of this game, I hope he it runs well enough for him.

  2. Zack, that’s not correct, and you could have googled it and known that. It’s disappointing because than there is little to no reason to delay the game for 4 months.

    1. Ok, I am sorry, but I don’t think this is a artistic choice. I don’t think the switch could have fully handeled this game at 60 fps with some visual downgrades. But it’s a lego game, you don’t need 60 fps for those games.

      1. You’re right, on other platforms it is 60FPS. I thought initially it was not at that framerate since I heard it was 30FPS on Xbox Series S, but it’s 60 on the Series X. I forgot the Series S is quite a power gap from the Series X.
