The official Microids Twitter account has announced out of the blue that Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Remastered is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. The game will arrive on the system on 29th November. The company also announced Asterix & Obelix XXXL 3 will also be heading to the Nintendo Switch sometime during autumn 2019.
The limited edition Asterix & Obelix XXL2, will include the video game (for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch) and 3 figures with Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix.
Who is Dogmatix?
Did a Google search to find out that only the UK and the USA uses the name DOGMATIX. That’s why I didn’t know it. Everywhere else in the world (including my country) the dog is called IDEFIX.
Yeah, we call him Idefix in Norway as well. The Norwegian word for “idea” is “Idé”, so we always said Idefix had all the good ideas all the time xP

They missed a perfect opportunity to make these figures amiibo. I would have imported this if they were. I’m STILL tempted though. At least for just the Switch game. I have a few Asterix video games. NES and SNES.
