Pokémon: The First Movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution, a remake of the 1998 film, released this past February as a Netflix-exclusive. However, if you’ve wanted a physical release, you’re in luck. It has been announced that the movie will be coming to DVD and Blu-ray in the United States on November 17th, 2020.
It’s really not worth it. You can tell it’s only something had he new hires make for practice, just like with the Pixar shorts. There’s no reason you should ever watch this version over the original.
