As if the titles mentioned in my previous post weren’t enough to fill gamers hearts with joy, the Entertainment Software Ratings Board have revealed a few more succulent titles to wet retro gamers insatiable appetites.

New to the already growing list, the additional titles set to make their début on the Wii Virtual Console early next year are gaming treats such as Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, and the unequalled Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

At this precise moment in time I’d imagine Nintendo, and the majority of its fans are rubbing their hands together with glee, as the following titles are sure to inflict ‘maximum damage’ on the company’s opponents early next year:

  • Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Super NES; rated E for Everyone)
  • Kirby’s Super Star (Super NES; rated E for Everyone)
  • Mario Kart 64 (Nintendo 64; rated E for Everyone)
  • Starfox 64 (Nintendo 64; rated E for Everyone)
  • Super Metroid (Super NES; rated E for Everyone)
  • Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (Super NES; rated E for Everyone)
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64; rated E for Everyone)

  1. It’s certainly a nice broad range of classic titles with which to look forward to in the coming months :)
Though as you say a fully fledged next generation addition to the Mario franchise would be amazing!
