
It appears the design procedure for the Nintendo DSi was a “frustrating” experience according to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.
Initially Nintendo decided to listen to customer feedback regarding implementing an additional DS card slot, but this however presented them with a much bulkier system than they’d originally anticipated, therefore the final iteration has only one DS card slot and subsequently looks all the better for it.
What expanded experience could we have seen with the addition of the second card slot? 0.o
I’m guessing it’s purely for people who like to carry two games around with them rather than one. I don’t think we’re missing out on too much to be honest :)
