The fabled Kid Icarus could be coming to Nintendo Wii according to Reggie Fils Aime.
When questioned about the current lack of mature first party games, Reggie responded “We do Mario, we do Donkey Kong, Zelda, and Kid Icarus. That’s what we do. That’s the type of products we bring to life. It’s always been the third party licensees that push the edge, …not necessarily by Nintendo.”
no offence but they are not the type of games people are talking about when they say mature games.
Wii needs more games like The conduit, Cod. resident evil etc… there just arent enough of these games. Also just because the wii isnt the top for graphics shouldnt mean that game makers should lack, the conduit proves that it can handle amazing graphics.
you read the quote wrong. people were bitching to Nintendo about needing more M games (much like you are now), and Reggie’s all like “Nintendo does Nintendo franchises, and Third party companies do M games”, and that’s when he let is slip that they’re working on a new Kid Icarus game. and maybe DK. haven’t seen a new one for Wii in a while.

And if the final product would look anything like the leaked concept artwork by factor 5, I hope they never make another Kid Icarus, or in their case, Man Icarus.

I think the artwork looks amazing! If your gonna hate on Kid Icarus just because he looks a bit older is dumb. How graphically enhanced could they make a kid icarus game anyway if he’s a kid. Just my opinion
@ hyliaman – If you haven’t noticed, concept art for most games is never the final product in-game. Especially for Wii titles.
