Nintendo Europe may have given away the release date for the Nintendo 3DS in Europe after they accidentally published the release date for Paper Mario 3DS on their website.
Nintendo Europe accidentally posted a March 25th 2011 release date for Paper Mario 3DS on their website, leading European gaming publications to speculate that this is the actual release date for the Nintendo 3DS in Europe.
Now I’m even more anxious about when it’s released in North America. D:
what does this mean for the release date for the united states?
It’s sounding more and more likely that it’ll be available in Japan in 2010 but North America and Europe will see it early 2011. That assumption is purely based upon the information I’ve seen around the web over the past few days. I’m sure Nintendo are trying as hard as possible to get it released in all territories before Christmas.
i do agree. they know that Christmas is their shot at getting it to sell fast. after the holidays no parent will buy it for their kids when they already had Christmas. this will be for 18 + year old who can save up for this and be able to drop $500 u.s dollars on this thing + games
I think Nintendo will price this fairly. All their consoles of recent times have been reasonably priced upon launch and I very much doubt this will be an exception.
yeah but its just the new tech will make some difference and i am adding in a few games and what not. but it will be fair price. they just need it so you can pre order by Christmas that will make a huge difference. its just as good as the real thing and they will get all of the holiday shoppers. do you agree?

Man, I really hope it comes out in the US for Christmas. I don’t want to have to wait another 5 months to get it, lol.
It’ll be released before march 25th for america. America always gets the systems quicker than europe. ^_^
I highly doubt that the 3ds will be above $250 because nintendo seems to be all about affordabilityand the most that they have ever sold a game system for is 250 but the most they have
ever sold a hand held for is 169 so even if the 3d and better screen up the price i highly doubt that it will be increased to the bank breaking price that people seem to have locked in their minds it also wont be launched before christmas because of all the systems they have to make plus the games
i do agree even i have a high price in mind. but what keeps on ticking in my mind is all the new tech and the manufacturing cost of this beast.
THE TECH ISN’T THAT NEW!!! When will people get this… just because it hasn’t been done in a console before doesn’t mean its brand spanking new.
