Epic Mickey producer Warren Spector has expressed his interest in collaborating on a project between Nintendo and Disney.
“Disney has a culture of innovation that goes back 80 years and Nintendo has a culture of innovation. The two companies need to be working together, because their corporate cultures are so similar – and that is instantly apparent in the Nintendo 3DS.”

uh… sure they could make some neat games and stuff, but I don’t think they necessarily need to work together. I mean Disney is mostly movies and animation, while Nintendo is mostly video games and technology.
hence working together… Nintendo suck when it comes to Narrative and animation (ok, they have gotten a little bit better these last couple of years) and Disney is masters at it. And Disney got some great games with square enix.
And Marvel is mostly comic books and superheroes, but that didn’t stop Disney from buying them. But I don’t think you’ll ever see “Disney Buys Nintendo for $9.7 Bil.” in the headlines ever.
Maybe Epic Mickey will be in the next super smash bros.

The Disney Channel is aimed at toddlers to preteens; their games are, well, mixed. If Nintendo and Disney collaborated, we’d have games like Epic Mickey (different, of course) being made instead of Hannah Montana: The Sparkle Spark Princess of… Strawberries?

So long as it’s not some Jonas Brothers-Miley Cyrus-High-School-Musical piece a shit, I guess it could be pretty cool. I mean Kingdom Hearts is pretty cool right? I mean, I don’t really think Epic Mickey or Kingdom Hearts has any of those disney-shit-pop-people in it, so they probably wouldn’t do that with Nintendo.
Warren is completely correct on this point in a philosophical way. Disney and Nintendo could collaberate together in a business sense. But let us hope the colab would end up with a new product and not just a cobbling together of already existing ideas.
