According to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata the long awaited 3D remake of The Legend Of Zelda : Ocarina of Time will include brand new content that wasn’t featured in the Nintendo 64 original.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revealed that Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D will have additional content in an interview with creator Shigeru Miyamoto on Nintendo’s official website.
“Of course, the Nintendo 3DS version of Ocarina of Time is crammed with interesting things that weren’t in the Nintendo 64 version,” he teased, “but we’ll wait to talk about those.”

This is definitely one of the biggest reasons why I’m buying the 3DS. New content if a major plus! I just with they could have crammed in Majora’s Mask as well :P

Figured it would, can’t have a remake without awesome new content. :)
They say theres no plans for a remake of Majora’s Mask, But i Don’t think that they will release just this when they see the success of it. Maybe I’m just being hopeful, because personally I loved MM a little more then OoT, was more difficult. :)
It would be sweet if they added a bunch of side quests.
I hope they do make a mm one and hopefully dk64 too. But good job so far nintendo

This will probably be the defining reason for me getting a 3DS. It’s kind of like getting Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen from the Sevii Island adventures after first beating the Elite Four. It just feels right, ya know?
My guess would be side quests, the unicorn fountain, beam attack, the temple of light, the white horse racing through hyrule as adult link, etc.
