Nintendo president Satoru Iwata believes that Microsoft’s Kinect which launched late last year has made little impact on Nintendo Wii sales worldwide. However Iwata did concede that many American gamers have multiple systems at home rather than just a Nintendo Wii.
“Of course, many users in the U.S. have multiple consoles at their homes. Many Wii users also have Xbox 360 and vice versa, so I am not saying that there is completely no effect in terms of use rate. However, hit titles are not being released continually every month for Kinect software, so we don’t believe Wii sales are being seriously affected.”

Iwata speaks the truth
Yeah, come to think of it, there hasn’t been much Kinect games since Launch. What’s up with that Microsoft? Lost your creativities? Or did Nintendo creamed you once again xD
I like Kinect, but their originality is low right now. I will wait until later.
All Kinect has at the moment is Dance Central and Child of Eden. Until we get more games of at least that quality for it, this news doesn’t surprise me in the least.
He is right about that because many do have multiple devices to use.
