Nintendo Wii 2: Ubisoft Believe That The Wii 2 (Project Cafe) Will Be A Huge Success For Nintendo

Ubisoft’s UK manager Rob Cooper has told online gaming publication MCV that the company is extremely excited about what Nintendo has to offer with it’s new console. Cooper believes that the console will not only deliver bucketfuls of innovation but will also be a huge success for the company. Nintendo will be showcasing their new home console which is currently referred to as Project Cafe at E3.

“What you always get with Nintendo is innovation, with consumers at the heart of the technologies they create, which will always result in huge success and I’m more than confident that Wii 2 will live up to this.”

“Never underestimate Nintendo and their capacity to look at gaming in new and innovative ways. I expect to be wowed.”

    1. It does have a touch screen, but I assume it will be easier to grip. Nintendo doesn’t like recycling controller design.

  1. that is too big to be a controller unless the system is a handheld lol. but i remember someone sayin somethin about using the 3DS as a controller, that’d be cool

    1. guess the 3ds controller will be confirmed at e3 heh…heh… :( and the eshop is exactly one week away from me yay :D

      1. i mainly want to see the new 3DS games so bad… mainly animal crossing or tales of the abyss 3d… there is so many like resident evil revelations and ugh… it just keeps going and going and i can’t even get most of them ughhhhh… i want them now

  2. This would be awesome.

You can play it as a portable device or when your at home you can link it wirelessly to the TV.
Friends can bring theirs over to share games, and play multiplayer. You can take it on trips, or you can play it on the coach without the TV.

    Tell me thats not cool!

    1. you knowi’m takin a day long train this summer… if you’re right this might be a good system if on the go.

      1. It won’t be capable of streaming too far outside your home property. They want to sell 3DS units, and they’d lose a lot of them if they did do what you and many others are suggesting.

  3. I could imagine all the amazing titles being ported to this system that are on Xbox or ps3. I would love to play RE5 on Nintendos new system.

  4. If someone like Ubisoft is saying this then I don’t see how the new console can fail. Its not like its a stupid speculation by the ever idiotic Pachter so here’s hoping lol

    Go Nintendo Go!!

  5. If it can go backwards compatable to Wii, it’ll go backwards compatable to Gamecube, I also wanna see Wii’s online be supported with Project Cafe’s online, please make this happen Nintendo, I don’t wanna have to keep my Wii just play games (what little are supported) online
