Square Enix has announced the release date for its Dragon Quest collection which is scheduled to arrive September 15th, and priced at ¥4,440. The collection comprises of the first three Dragon Quest games in their original Famicom form, and the Super Famiciom Dragon Quest I&II and Dragon Quest III remakes. The big news is that the collection will come with footage of the long-awaited Dragon Quest X. Hopefully Square Enix will see sense and release the collection over here in the West.

  1. Better to ask Nintendo of America to publish it. Square-Enix doesn’t seem to want anything to do with releasing anything Dragon Quest related in the west. Nintendo’s been publishing the series with DQVI and IX, while handling the upcoming releases of Fortune Street and DQ Monsters Joker 2.

  2. Oh my gosh, please Nintendo! Please realease this. I want this so bad and play the “Super Famicom” remake. However, if this don’t get released, hopefully at least Nintendo will release the “Dragon Warrior” games on the 3DS’s Virtual Console on their GameBoy and GameBoyColor forms.

  3. AM NOT BEGGING! NINTENDO SEEMS TO GIVE BS EXCUSES WHY JAPANESE GET BETTER CONTENT LIKE DVD GAMECUBE. I FOR ONE AM TIRED OF THE BULLSHIT THE WII GOT CRAPPY LINEUP AS IS IF I DON’T SEE THIS GAME THAN FUCK U AM GOING TO SONY.
