Sonic the Hedgehog creator, Yuji Naka recently attended an Iwata Asks segment in which he revealed his canceled Wii project which was dubbed Haunted Tower. Naka pitched the game to Nintendo when he found out about the Wii MotionPlus accessory as he thought it would work perfectly with his new game. The game worked by defeating monsters “outside the screen” in your living room, by pointing the Wii controller in directions other than the television. Sadly the project was canceled and Yuji Naka began working with Nintendo on the recently released Wii Play: Motion.
So basically Face Raiders on Wii.

Dude. Shut up. Sega will not release the Dreamcast 2. You’re forgetting they crashed out of the hardware market, you can’t expect the follow-up to a titanic to be an industry leader. Nintendo pioneered 3D Gaming with the Virtual Boy. As for Sonic… nice 3D games line-up!
Also in your speech, you don’t mention the Xbox line of consoles.

I’m pretty sure the Haunted Tower game wasn’t going to star Sonic, just made by the same creator is all.

Everything is good except for the banner picture. I don’t like it, and I don’t really think it fits. A artistic mario-themed shot,like a mushroom or mario hat would be more appropriate. Other than that, I like the look. One question, did you design this theme yourself?

Well its exactly the minigame in WiiPlayMotion. Works really well haunting ghosts in Lugi-manner, but it lacks fun for me. Also the new “duck hunt” minigames uses similar mechanics.
Hmm interesting. It would be nice to see a Sonic Game on the Wii-U

It will still be on 3ds or will they cancel like mml3 was? typical, just how long will it take for companies to abandon nintendo?
