Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition Commercial

The Pokemon Company has unleashed two new Japanese commercials for the highly anticipated Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition. Nintendo has yet to confirm whether or not there will be a Western release for the game, but we may hear something at E3. Pokemon + Nobunaga’s Ambition comes out in Japan on March 17th.

  1. We not getting this game, if we was nintendo would have been said something earlier they dont really release games that far away from japan release they said noting about it besides how many people would buy this in the west we dont know what the fuck a Nobunaga is. it will sale but not like crack like pokemon games do,

    1. Because you are hating people saying dislike your comment.

I agree anyway… Spin-offs suck and will always. Also remakes.

    2. Nobunaga was a Japanese feudal lord from the 1500s who united Japan’s Fiefs into a single entity.

I’ve played a game called Nobunaga’s Ambition for the NES, and IMO is one of the best games for the system.

Nobunaga is referred to as Oda Nobunaga, and Oda is one of the lords in the game, who starts off with the most advantages when you play the NES one. You do not have to be him, but the story (and title) refer to him as he was the lord to do it.

  2. Why is there so many pokemon spin-offs… they always suck (Usualy)

Reply to this comment if you hate spin-offs of pokemon.

  3. Sickr

That comment Airbuz written in the last article about black ops best ending and oc 3rd. can you please make an article for that.

BTW: MW2 should be higher then Black Ops on that list.

  4. One of a very very small amount of things I don’t like about Nintendo, games that don’t make it out of Japan. Oh well, I’m not a Pokefan (I’m not saying it’s bad to be a Pokefan). So it’s all good, for me at least.

  6. It probably won’t make it outside Japan ‘cos it clearly wasn’t intended for an audience outside the east. It’s a crossover between two franchises that are insanely popular over there, whereas Nobunaga’s Ambition – heck, most of the stuff Koei puts out – isn’t popular over here.

    1. Yeah, but Pokemon is popular here. If anything the game being localized would introduce Pokemon fans to a new series, thus increasing it’s popularity, maybe. Just because the game has Pokemon in it it’s guaranteed to sell.

  7. Would love for this to come out in the west, could also learn a bit about Nobunaga and Japanese History through it. But it’s pretty much guaranteed to be Japan only. Yes pokémon is popular here, but they aren’t going to release the game just because of that. Not only is the Nobunaga’s Ambition franchise not popular here, it is also based off Japanese History that is well-known in the country, we wouldn’t get the same appeal from it.
If it turns out there isn’t region locking, I might import it and try to use my limited Japanese to play it, but I think that’s probably the most we could realistically hope for.
