Masahiro Sakurai, the creative force behind both the Kirby and the Super Smash Bros series, has revealed the five composers behind the Kid Icarus: Uprising soundtrack. Here are the five composers, along with the games that they’ve previously provided soundtracks for:
- Motoi Sakuraba: Tales of, Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, Baten Kaitos, Dark Souls, Golden Sun
- Yuzo Koshiro: Streets of Rage, ActRaiser, Shinobi, Etrian Odyssey
- Masafumi Takada: Killer7, No More Heroes, God Hand
- Noriyuki Iwadare: Lunar, Grandia, Radiata Stories
- Yasunori Mitsuda: Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenogears, Shadow Hearts

Wow! never thought so many talented people were working on the soundtrack of this game, that’s gonna be epic! I don’t know about you guys, but the soundtrack is almost 40% of a game for me, 50% is gameplay and 10% are the other concepts. It feels soo good when the game catch you with the music…

That’s an amzaing line up of top class composers. Nintendo went all out with this game, as they should, seeing as it’s the return of Kid Icarus after 25 years.

First time I’ve ever heard of Yuzo’s music was from Streets of Rage 2 for the Genesis.
