Project P-100 E3 Trailer

Project P-100 was a secret game prior to Nintendo’s E3 2012 presentation and was announced soon after. The game allows you to control a group of superheroes in order to defeat invading aliens. All the superheroes have different attributes and abilities that make them unique. The superheroes can form into powerful figures when they merge with each other. The game contains a lot of action and puzzle elements. Project P-100’s gameplay is similar to the Pikmin series and Wii’s Little King’s Story – has anyone played the latter?

  1. This is a really unique game. Given that it’s from Platinum Games, it might just be great. I wonder how the Gamepad is used?

  2. This game does not look that good. I was honestly expecting a lot more from Nintendo in terms of a new IP, so I guess we won’t be getting anything as fantastic as a Zelda, Mario, or Star Fox tittle in a long while… </3

  3. Real keen on this game. Probably not a pre-order title, but more so an ‘after I’ve had my way with Pikmin 3 and ZombiU’ type game. Definite buy though.

  4. > Cluster of heroes takes the form of a fist and socks a giant robot.

    Seems legit.

I remember hearing this game would take more of a focus on group-controller rather than the control of an individual in a crowd like Pikmin, and I’ll be interested to put this idea into practice when I get my hands on this.

  5. This game looks pretty great IMO! Looks a bit like Viewtiful Joe. We can’t say we didn’t get new IPs though: Nintendo Land; Project P-100; ZombieU… Things are looking good in retrospect and this is only the beginning. Nintendo knows what they’re doing.

  6. I have one question. WHY THE HELL DIDN’T YOU SHOW THIS DURING THE PRESENTATION?
This game looks really cool and is being published by Nintendo. It might not be the big blockbuster everyone was clamoring for but it’s something. Leave luck to heaven.

  7. Am I the only one who sees this game in action, and thinks this has a bunch or unrealized ideas from the now defunkt Wii game Project: HAMMER?
