Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion was one of the games shown during the 3DS software showcase. The game will be developed by Dreamrift and published by Disney Interactive Studios. Unlike the 3D platformer for Wii, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion is not a port, it is a brand-new game that will be released in November for Nintendo 3DS. What do you think of the game’s art style?
It sucks..
thanks nintendo for NOT giving us REAL games!!!!!!!!!!!!
What’s your definition of a REAL game?
What Exacly sucks about it? Looks like a solid side scroller to me.
It’s a fucking game for KIDS, that’s what i mean.
you probably are a kid.
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! Im not.. I just know what most of people think about games like this. It sucks. If you have fun playing it, it’s ok.
Soo tell me (sir) are you going to get married if your not a kid right?
¿??
owne.
Mario is for KIDS too
the original castle of illusion was a great game i can’t wait to play this!
This looks similar to the snes micky games which were amazing. I cant wait to buy this.
This actually looks more interesting then both NSMB games Nintendo showed 0_0
It looks like an early ds/ late gameboy game. Does no one else see this??
They’re called SPRITES (I think that’s how it’s spelled), it’s meant to bring a retro look to the game.
Looks like Kirby meets Kingdom Hearts. So buying it!
I’m happy to see they’re sticking so closely to the look of Castle of Illusion, and a higher-detail version of it to boot. I feel going the Cave Story 3D route (polygonal) would have taken away that charm, so kudos to Dreamrift for making this choice.
Now Disney needs to give the greenlight for Spector to make a new Ducktales game!
wow, cool, awesome! I am so not getting this.
This game is being made by the same people behind Henry Hatsworth and Monster Tale, 2 excellent DS sidescrollers. Those guys know how to use both screens to make unique gameplay, so i really want to get this game.
Reminds me of playing an old school Sega/Mickey Mouse title on the Genesis.
looks good cant wait.
meh ill just fire up magical quest starring mickey mouse for snes when i wanna get nostalgic…that works best
I loved sooo much Land of Illusion on the GameGear when I was a kid….
I wasn’t beating it once a day like the guy who showed this game at E3 though, lol
The sound effects sound so similiar to Monster Tale. Meh, I loved Monster Tale on my Acekard 2i, so when this comes out, I am definitely going to get it. Looks like a solid platfomer.

I really wish Castlevania 3DS had stuck to sprites too though.
