Bethesda’s PR and marketing VP Pete Hines has revealed that the firm isn’t completely sold on Wii U at the moment. Hines says that the company’s approach is to put their games on as many formats as possible, but Wii and Wii U haven’t fitted into their plans.
“Our approach has been to put our games out on all of the platforms that will support them.”
“So far the Wii hasn’t fitted into that. Whether Wii U does down the road is TBD.”

I love Bethesda games… The only peeve I have with their elder scrolls and fallout series is having to go to the menu screen to look at the map or select an item or such… It ruins the experience of feeling like you’re in the game… It’s to bad there’s no controller with its own screen like device to help bypass this… To… Bad v.v

I never said about putting it on the WiiU, I have these games on pc and it’s well capable of playing these games highest settings without any trouble, I’m just saying is with my experience their games have the most bugs, and from what I have heard about skyrim on ps3, it was unplayable and now they can’t bring the latest dlc or something along those lines to ps3 for some reason concerning the bugs in the game (probably due to hardware) and at the moment has no fix for the solution.
Long story short, fallout is my one of my favorite series but I have noticed that Bethesda games are more bug filled then everything else, this is just me though.

Ahhhh i see why they are wary, you see, it’s already confirmed that WiiU has more ram then current consoles which is a big reason why at least skyrim is/was so buggy, therefor if they release it on a console with more ram then obviously their games won’t be the bugfest they are known, and we all don’t want that do we?

What’s there not compatible? Its just as easy to develop for as the 360 and has less hardware limitations.
Erm, it may be just as easy but what they’re saying is that the development methods they’ve used on previous games are incompatible. Meaning that if future games are made differently, they may come to Wii U but current games won’t be ported.

Well, they didn’t say never I guess. I’m looking forward to when the console is past this “early 360 phase” (hopefully you know what I mean).
Given their track record in the last generation on consoles…this is actually relatively understandable. Skyrim on the consoles kinda didn’t have the smoothest ride, afterall, and many of their other titles on PS3/Xbox weren’t perfect either…frankly, Bethesda are better off supporting PC’s where the system is more open and handleable.

At this point, we know it’s NOT the best of the three, and there’s no actual getting around that…it’s a good second console as something alternative to play, but it’s not going to cut it as a SOLE console to own if you want a wider range of gaming experiences.
However, It’s a good system concept – the specs are just clearly the major issue as they were before, and it’s simply a shame that Nintendo clearly aren’t aware of this fact.
I’m still gettin’ one, though.
And here I was thinking how cool it would be to see the Wii U game-pad mounted on a Pip-boy peripheral. Oh well.
Sadly, 3rd parties don’t sell too great on Nintendo platforms. To cut around that, why not support the system early when there’s not too much competition? The whole ‘we’ll wait to see how it does’ approach is stupid. Did Wii owners appreciate Xenoblade? Of course! Would it have sold even more by now if it were a launch title? How could it not?
