The First Trailer For Nintendo Land’s Balloon Trip Breeze Appears Online

Game Informer has released the first footage of the Nintendo Land attraction which is titled Balloon Trip Breeze. The game, which is based on the 1986 NES title Balloon Fight, features visuals akin to Kirby’s Epic Yarn and sees you swiping the stylus on the Wii U GamePad to keep the balloon-strapped Mii floating and dodging obstacles. The game is currently single player, but expect Nintendo to lift the lid on the multiplayer mode in the near-future. You can watch the trailer here.

      1. dammit. I remember playing this game in NES. I think this was the game [i forgot the title]. You fly with a baloon being chased by birds.

      1. reports from a number of Wiiu convention’s suggest almost every wiiu game to be running at 60FPS , except for zombiu which was apparently 30fps in an unfinalised build .

I think nintendo is trying to push 60fps as the new thing .

  1. Simple yet fun, i like it, good to see a little revival of an old franchise

Also, first visual confirmation of multiple levels in each attraction.

      1. Dumbass…..READ. This game is just another iPhone (like) game. Back to school with u. I never said it was not for Nintendoland.

          1. So if a Pokemon like game comes out on the iPhone and I’d say “Thats a Nintendo game” will that game become a Nintendo game suddenly? Dont think so dumbass. Back to school old man.

    1. Well technically Wii Sports didnt sell, because it was packed into the game. I hope they put this game in with the console. Overall it just seems like a good idea.
      • Economy is bad, a reasonably priced console with a free game is appealling
      • It shows off multiple ways the system can change gameplay
      • it introducing people to Nintendo franchises, which would make them more interested in buying the full games of those franchises. The might really enjoy the Zelda or Pikmin minigame, and decide to go buy the game.

        1. Errm, yeah, but they also require the gamepad. When are people going to realise you dont HAVE to use the gamepad for the WiiU. In fact im sure someone will make a game that suits just the nunchuck and wiimote

      1. Actually, not to burst your bubble or anything, but even though the Wii Sports game was packaged, they still count every one of them that were sold towards the count. Technically, Wii Sports sold over 79.60 million copies. It is the most sold Nintendo game of all time…most sold GAME of all time. To give you an example, Super Mario Bros. for the NES sold 40.24 million and Call of Duty Black Ops 2 sold only 12 million.

        1. Maybe Wii sports is the best selling Nintendo game technically, but it isn’t really due to the game itself, it’s because it came free with a Wii at the end of the day.

        2. I still wouldnt count it, those sales didnt come from people literally buying the game, it came with the Wii. Mario Kart Wii is official holder of best selling Nintendo game, and i think game of all time too, i cant remember
