Sega Europe has officially announced that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be a launch title for Wii U. Sega also revealed that the Limited Edition version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, which includes an exclusive OutRun inspired track and a Metal Sonic Mod Pack, will also be available on Wii U.

Not many will buy PS4 anyways even if it has more powerful hardware. Look at the Vita and 3DS, the 3DS is less powerful but it has games and 20 million users while Vita is powerful has few games and 2.5 million users. If it was all about specs and sales the PS3 would be first, followed by xbox 360 then the wii. As for last gen the PS2 would be slightly ahead the Dreamcast and either the X-Box or Gamecube (im not sure who is more powerful out of those two, i think it’s gamecube).
Xbox is quite more powerful than the Gamecube.
Dreamcast was the weakest console last generation too and it fell off the map.
The Saturn was the weakest in the gen prior as well, in fact it was also a total mess to develop for. It was only good at 2D games, and like the Dreamcast, failed.

im not to excited about this game cause i feel that this is borrowing from the Mario kart series and i have been more of a Mario fan than a sonic fan.
I don’t mind if game companies borrow ideas and concepts from other games. I see it as building upon the genre to make their game as good as possible. But when a company makes a blatant rip-off, that’s just ridiculous.
This game builds upon what Mario Kart started, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I liked the DS sonic racing more than I liked Mario Kart DS. I will probably pick this game up then.

It might be borrowing in a few instances, but it’s mostly its own game. Both Mario Kart and Sonic and All Stars Racing are in the racing genre under the header “Kart Racing” (even if most of the vehicles in this game aren’t so much karts as high-tech vehicles). This is one of the few times that a developer tried to compete with Mario Kart, so a few ideas are similar, but it is its own game. There are sure to be tons of missions and until the next Mario Kart is released, maybe you should check it out.
The first game was great. I haven’t really enjoyed a MK game since MK DS; and yes I have both MK Wii and MK 7.
I enjoyed Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing more than I did MK Wii and MK 7. But I’m still a huge fan of the MK series. A lot of different kart racing games have been around for a long, long, time. It’s just another game in the same genre.

This game offers some unique experiences from Mario Kart. The next one may not release for a while and I have not seen a mission mode in Mario Kart. That’s one thing that makes this one unique is a mission mode. Just give it a chance. Mario Kart won’t have another installment for a while.
At least there are some open-minded folk around still.
