Sony’s Kevin Butler Removed From Bridgestone Mario Kart Wii Advert

Earlier this month, Sony marketing character Kevin Butler, who’s played by Jerry Lambert, was spotted engaging in a Mario Kart Wii match in a television advert for Bridgestone, which is an auto and truck parts manufacturer. It appears as though the original commercial was removed or Kevin Butler was edited out of it. You can watch the Butler-less advert here.

    1. Or contracts. But you’d be stupid enough to suggest that this is “damage control”, as if Sony owns this actor or something.

          1. shh don’t let aeo. oleo oreo wharever…don’t let him know it :P

by the way i was hoping monster hunter ultimate for ps3 too :c

      1. If it was a contract, then Jerry Lambert (the actor) would’ve violated it and faced the consequences.
There would have been no reason for Bridgestone to reshoot the commercial since they’re not in a contract with Sony.

  1. I dont get how they either allowed this in the first place if he works for Sony’s marketing campaign (as an actor)

Also, fucking LOL, i just saw Aeolus AKA Amir Stuart on a IGN facebook post about graphics (typical)
    Nice Wolf picture, AelyWaly ;)

    1. Also, it’s a dog–an Australian Shepherd. But what do Nintendiots know about outside life? It’s all about their bodies being ready with graphics fresh out of the Gamecube era.

      1. Well you can’t blame people for not knowing a dog species. I live in Australia, and I know plenty of other Aussies who would have no idea what an Australian Shepherd is. Even if I’m walking by there house with my Australian Shepherd.

        1. Dude, don’t bother trying to argue the Wii being more powerful than anything. It had terrible graphics. The motion controls I liked and were actually innovative. But the terrible graphics took the shine away from it.

          1. I was joking , lol . That’s why I was comparing it to a damn ps2 :/ .

The wii had some nice visual’s on it . Mario galaxies, skyward sword , muramasa , monster hunter tri , xenoblade to name a few , WITH a composite cable . looked amazing .

If mario galaxy 2 was made HD it would look better than 90% of 360 games .

          2. It had a poor resolution; the graphics were decent for games that tried to utilize the hardware and amazing for games that really pushed the limit of the hardware (Mario Galaxy, for example).

And the Wii is more powerful than some things, such as previous generation consoles. The Wii may have been weak during the current gen, but realistically, what really matters is how great a ton of games turned out to be even running on the Wii’s weaker hardware.

        2. Completely irrelivant. The wiiu has better graphics than any console ever before , so my body is 100% ready for that.
Until the ps4 comes out , and I will be ready for that aswell .

          1. And will be completely 1-upped in them once next-gen consoles are out.

Oh look! My toaster is better than a 7 year old toaster! Amazing isn’t it?!

      2. Aeolusnolifevirginwhostillliveswithhisparents.

And yet your stupidity still surprises me. From what o have seen on here is that your on here everysingle day and post comments on here every hour or so maybe the irony is you need to get a life or then again the name is probably true.

        1. Nice post.
          This is one sorry troll.
Fucking spending his sad life fighting with nintendo fans all day.
The only pleasure he gets in life, (Since he can’t have fun with a failing Sony Platform)

          His posts are so stupid
Thanks for posting this. I’m saving it.

    1. He’s an actor who follows a given script, so Jerry Lambert doesn’t exactly insult Mario Kart but his role, Kevin Butler, does.

And it wasn’t Kevin Butler in the Bridgestone commercial but rather an unnamed role. They just share the same actor: Jerry.
