Warner Bros has announced that its highly anticipated Scribblenauts Unlimited game will feature even more than ever before, with Nintendo themed bonus content. Players can summon dozens of their favorite characters and items from the Mario and Legend of Zelda franchises exclusively in the Wii U version of the game.
Players will delight in producing fantastical and sometimes hilarious interactions between the Mario and Legend of Zelda characters and objects, alongside everyone’s favorite word-wielding Scribblenauts adventurer, Maxwell. Discovered Nintendo characters and objects will behave in the fun and fantastical ways they do in their respective game worlds.
where the fuck are their mouths?
You’re not familiar with the style that some humans in Scribblenaut have? Some humans have mouths (e.g. Maxwell) where as some others (e.g. a typical man or woman spawned with the notebook in-game) will have no mouths.
The better question is, where are your manners?
Well, Link doesnt really need his. All he’s gona say is “SKEET, HAAAAA, NAAHHGGG, NAAAA”
Pregnant Mario.
Preordered.
Better: Pregnant Ninja Robotic Undead Pirate Mario, or switch Mario with Link.
Don’t mind of I do.
*if
it would be freakin’ amazing if Link was an Avatar option!!!
nice?
New “Iwata Asks” is online!!
http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/wiiu/gamepad/0/0
You should check it out ;)
The wiiu gamepad was carved by hand . Thank you M :)
Wow, way to rip Nintendo off! Can’t anyone think of anything original anymore? Nintendo should totally sue these assholes!
I hate you. I hate you either for trying to be funny in the worst way possible or for being a genuinely stupid person. I can’t decide which.
Haha!!! indeed. That has to be sarcasm , lol . It’s awesome that warner bros and Nintendo have agreed to have Nintendo characters in their game , just like the costumes in tekken tag 2. Gives the wiiu some real identity :)
Tsk tsk tsk, what has trolling come to?
… Don’t know if you’re trolling or made by far the most idiotic comment in existence
how about both.
Ben, NINTENDO GAVE THEM PERMISSION. Okeh? Pleasure doing business with yar
Is Samus in the game?
I thought the same thing. I want to summon a power beam cannon.
She had better be! Gotta have some Metroid in this game.
How is it a rip-off?
It’s a Wii U game and these characters are like an honor for Nintendo si I don’t see any problem.
It’s the same thing as when Link was in Soul Calibur 2.
A Brazilian games blog already had a guess on it. They got it right for every character! Here’s the proof:
http://www.nintendoblast.com.br/2012/10/seriam-os-personagens-da-serie-mario-e.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+n-blast+%28Nintendo+Blast%29
Oops, it was actually Kotaku who guessed it first. My bad!
Actually, they took that guess from kotaku.com´s user chamoo232 :
http://kotaku.com/5951935/my-best-guesses-for-this-scribbenauts-tease-involve-nintendo-characters-yours
This is the reason why I love Nintendo so much. :3
*adds Scribblenauts Unlimited to Wii U Wish List*
Gosh, it looks like there really is no reason for me to go back to playing the Nintendo 3DS again. A ton of games (including this) that are available on the Nintendo 3DS are also coming to the Wii U. Maybe Nintendo is doing this in order to encourage us to satisfy both audiences (or people who like to double-dip)? It certainly looks that way. :D
I’ve always been more centered on their home consoles, anyways, so the news that this game won’t have these Nintendo-centric characters in the Nintendo 3DS doesn’t bother me much,
May even sell the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS I got for my birthday now. Haven’t opened it yet, so I can get a full refund, and there are just too many Wii U games for me to bring myself to play the Nintendo 3DS now. XD
That’s strange bro . The 3DS has many amazing games that aren’t on the wiiu and is totaly different and none comparable , lol.
Okay Monster hunter and scribble naughts are on wiiu ….. That’s about it .
Kingdom hearts , oot 3d , Resi Rev , Mario 3D land , Mk7 , Castlevania MOF , Luigi’s mansion 2 , Paper mario sticker star , Animal Crossing 3D , Fire emblem and many many many other stellar games are unique to the 3ds.
The 3ds is awesome and is up and running !!! The wiiu looks amazing , but surely you can love both ?
lol XD
You’re right about that, actually. There are a huge number of 3DS exclusives that I am overlooking here.
I don’t know. I’m torn. So much love to spread, but I barely have time to play games like I used to now that I have other responsibilities in my life too. :c
Here’s the problem–literally HALF of the games on Nintendo’s Game Guide (http://www.nintendo.com/games/gameGuide) for the Wii U, I am absolutely ITCHING to play:
Wii U Games:
– Aliens: Colonial Marines
– Wii Fit U
– The Wonderful 101
– Pikmin 3
– Bayonetta 2
– Game & Wario
– Nintendo Land
– New Super Mario Bros. U
– Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
– Scribblenauts Unlimited
– ZombiU
– Assassin’s Creed III
– Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition
– RAYMAN LEGENDS
– Mass Effect 3: Special Edition
– Skylanders Giants
– Darksiders II
– TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2
– Call of Duty: Black Ops II
– Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
– Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two
Nintendo eShop
– Cloudberry Kingdom
– Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition
– Toki Tori 2
– Nano Assault Neo
^ Those aren’t even near to the amount of games we are really getting for the Wii U. Nintendo hasn’t put up a page for Trine 2, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Little Inferno, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, or their inevitable Virtual Console/HD Classics lineups yet. Add up the price of all those packaged Wii U games (excluding eShop ones) and it totals to $1,260 for all of those games…not including tax (tax makes it about $1,335.60). x.x
Although, I will admit that’s counting Nintendo Land, so $60 can be deducted from that. But still…I think I’ve kinda made my point of why I may not keep my Nintendo 3DS still. Better to sell it and get a full refund than to have it just sit there collecting dust in my closet while the Wii U hogs all of my attention! XD
A console launch as robust as the Wii U’s deserves the full attention of every Nintendo fan out there–myself included–and I think it’s about time to craft some new everlasting memories with the Wii U’s launch that I haven’t felt since the N64 days and rekindle my fiery passion for why I have loved Nintendo so much since the day I was born (my first word was Mario–that tells you something). :)
I can fully understand your point!! But I will find time to play Just the killer games on both platforms. I have played EVERY single major 3ds game so far. And I plan on doing just that for the next 4 years , lol. Same with the wiiu. I will only buy and play the best of the best until I can find less desired games for really cheap :) .
I understand your point though! :)
The Nintendo 3DS is great and has a wide array of games for me too, so I might just end up keeping Cosmo and save myself from the butt hurt later on when a new Zelda or Metroid is announced for the Nintendo 3DS exclusively.
I’ve been meaning to reconsider how I purchase games. I may only start buying games if they really appeal to me in a meaningful way, rather than buy games that will be thrown asunder when their sequels come out the following year (i.e. Call of Duty: Black Ops II) or that I feel I wouldn’t want to play a few years down the road.
Thanks a bunch! You’ve convinced me to keep Cosmo. :)
I might just play Paper Mario: Sticker Star when it comes out later this year and start my Nintendo 3DS collection from there (of course catching up with all the major games I need to get for the system that have already come out). I think you are right from a gaming perspective. It’s better to divide my attention towards both because they are both meant to be played together (a great example is MH3U and its Nintendo Network connectivity between the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems), so I will do just that and enjoy gaming from both systems. :D
Thanks again! :3
Your opinion is most important!!! Your idea of a must buy game may differ from other peeps!!
But for example – Mario kart 7 , Mario 3d land , OOT 3D , Resi Rev , Pokemon Black and white 2 etc etc . this is the sort of ”Must buy” game I speak off , Not sonic generations or heroes of ruin lol . They’re great but they’re not worth the full price tag considering the must buys are the same price…..
But yeh , like next christmas I will pick up all the wiiu games that I didn’t prioritise this year !!
And yeh save the butthurt from when Zelda 3ds is anounced at e3 2013 :P
Yeah! I’d be crying myself to sleep at night thinking about the next Zelda game on the Nintendo 3DS if it were announced at E3 just when I sold my system! lol XD
I can easily make a list of games for both systems to help me decide which games are “must-buys” for me and keep track of the others that I’m interested in. Nintendo eShop’s wishlist really helps in that regard! :)
your first word was really Mario? that’s amazing dude xD
Pingback: Nintendo Characters are in Scribblenauts Unlimited! | Nintendo 3DS Daily
That’s an adorable Yoshi.
reminds me of yoshi story, when are they going to make another one?
Who knows? :(
That Mario scares me. It reminds me of that Goosebumps book with the marionette on the cover
I might pick this up.
“Ridable peach”
Best word idea ever.
OMG LOL xD id have Mario ride her OH GOSH im horrible LOL xD
it’d be awesome if it had all the original 150 Pokemons
That would be awesome. Charizard and Pikachu, lightening flame thrower attack
Two thumbs up for WB Games and developer Level 5 for adding Nintendo characters in Scribblenaughts Unlimited for the Wii U.
Guess I’ll write in my notebook “Here just have my wallet, without licenses”
Reblogged this on Gigable – Tech Blog.
They need to help promote it somehow. Look at Tekken Tag Tournament II, more people want it due to the Nintendo costumes.
Don’t worry, we’re still a month away.
When Nintendo starts airing all of their Wii U commercials in the states (which has to be soon), I’m sure that WB Games will also have many commercials airing on channels like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network for Scribblenauts Unlimited and the fact that you can even make Nintendo characters appear in the game.
Now, how about those Nintendo accessories for characters and creations in the game? GIB ME THEM NAO! *kinda confirmed already since we have a Tanooki Suit that Max can use* :3
Definitely, I’m not worried.
Paper Mario and Chain Link. Oh boy.
Is it just me, or do they look like Ditto versions of themselves?
yeah kinda
Haha people guessed it right. It’s like that thread on GAF where people are stalking Retro Studios after they moved to a bigger office.
I already guessed it lol!
i new mario charcter were gonna come but I didn’t see the zelda characters coming aswell
I wonder what other franchises/ characters made the cut
Link and Zelda look fucking awesome
What’s really exciting is that not only are the Nintendo characters in this, the Nintendo characters’ PARTS are in this. So unless there’s some sort of DRM on them, you could conceivably mix up their parts in your own creations– turn Peach purple and create a Princess Garlic for Wario, combine Mario and Luigi into a two-headed super-plumber like in that one choose-your-own-adventure book, turn Bowser into Gamera… the possibilities are infinity squared!
I would make Mario a centaur, because… http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_marmd3r9vU1rw70wfo1_500.png
Damn fucking Fatass goron took Ganondorfs spotlight!
I really like the fact that Nintendo is allowing their characters in 3rd party games like Tekken tag. I think it would really help sell these 3rd party franchises & continue on improving 3rd party relationships

i knew it…..
yay! Zelda is in it!
I’m not too surprised with this, for some reason, somewhere in my mind I had a feeling that some easter egg like this would happen…
I’ve never really played a scribblenauts game … any good?
I played Scribblenauts on the DS. I didn’t get much time with it but I was impressed with how you could write a random noun and describe it with an adjective and it would appear (of course, you couldn’t write EVERYTHING lol, there were some exceptions). But now that they’ve expanded that with Scribblenaughts WiiU it’ll be exciting to see the more crazy things you can think up of!
But I think the adjectives on the DS ver. were limited to just colour… or maybe a bit more than that…please someone correct me if I’m wrong because I’m not sure :P
Ahk sweet! Because I was looking at picking up the game for 3DS actually :D
I think we found the art style for the first HD Zelda game.
